A Invitation to Cotterstock Village Hall

TIM STUBBS IS BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND

Tim returns to Cotterstock, bringing his new one man show

“Reflections of Life – Part 2”

to the village hall on Friday 27

September at 7.30 p.m. in order to raise money for Diabetes UK.

Tim’s new show will tell more tales from his childhood, growing up as the son of the baker in Thurlby in the 1960S/70s and his astute observations on the many characters in the village at that time. He will also be sharing further stories gathered over many years as an auctioneer, antique dealer and latterly as the publican of the Red Lion in Warmington.

Tickets are £10 (cash only) from Stu-Pots in the Market Place, Oundle.

As before, they are limited due to the size of the hall and include a glass of wine or juice in the interval.

There will be a quality (cash only) raffle prize draw on the night with prizes generously donated by local businesses. This promises to be a night of nostalgia, fun and laughter from a hilarious raconteur with every penny raised on the night going to Diabetes UK.

More than five million people in the UK are living with diabetes which can, at its worst, affect every part of your life and body. However, with the right treatment, knowledge and support, people living with diabetes can lead long, full and healthy lives. Left untreated, it raises the risk of damage to the eyes, kidneys, nerves and heart. Everything we know about diabetes, every drug, device and development has only been possible because of research of  which Diabetes UK is the leading charitable donor.
