The November meeting of Peterborough Local History Society is on Thursday 13th, at 7.30pm, at St Andrew’s United Reformed Church, Ledbury Road, Netherton, Peterborough PE3 9RF .

The speaker for the evening will be Gary Breeze, with “The Dukes of Bedford”.

From humble Tudor beginnings to Victorian splendour and beyond. Learn how one man’s chance encounter spawned a dynasty that has lasted over 500 years.

Visitors are very welcome to attend, for a fee of £3.
