October Meeting
The History Society’s next meeting is on Thursday 13th October. The venue is the St Andrews United Reform Church. Ledbury Road, Netherton, Peterborough PE3 9RF Parking is behind the church. Visitors are welcome with an entrance fee of just £3. Coffee and biscuits are provided.
Commencing at 7.30 pm, our speaker for the evening will be Society secretary, Julie Nicholson, who will share with us her talk entitled “Spalding…Land of my Birth”. This illustrated presentation will allow us a glimpse of a Spalding of yesteryear, with a fascinating insight into some well-known names associated with the town.”
